Synopsis:
Kevin, an ardent Democrat, is devastated after his girlfriend leaves him, his only consolation being that she left his beloved dog Bailey. Despite his farmhand Richard's pleas, Kevin mopes around on the couch watching CNN, until one day he spots a man putting Trump signs along his fence.

Director Bio:
Albert Newberry is a pianist, composer, and filmmaker from Bland, Virginia. He has won numerous competitions and awards as a musician, and his films have been selected or have received prizes in festivals such as Houston WorldFest (Fleur de Sel, 2022). He earned a Bachelor's in Piano Performance from New School/Mannes School of Music in 2017, and is currently working on his Master's in Music Theory at Indiana University. Though music has always been the main gig for him, Albert has always loved the art of cinema. He took numerous film courses while at the New School, and also studied filmmaking at the Asheville School of Film in 2021. He makes a movie any chance he gets, and especially enjoys shooting them in his small Appalachian hometown.
