Sam Hodge began directing in 2017 with his first feature film Twelve Pole Manor and gained worldwide distribution with Wild Eye Releasing. Also known as a composer and cinematographer, he has garnered a long list of short and feature film credits including Glam, the award winning Conversation With the Devil, and the inspiration for Redhead, Taste of Revenge. Hodge’s versatility brought him to help direct both Reunion From Hell features with Hayden Newman. His current efforts are solely geared towards Redhead, a blood-soaked female-led slasher which has premiered in 11 major cities in North America.

Sam Hodge co-owns Cinesavage Films with his wife, Johnna Hodge.

Johnna Hodge is assuming her first directing role with Redhead and has been working on the film alongside Sam Hodge since late 2021. Her involvement as a director on Redhead is a no-brainer, given the fact that her character is so central to the story and she is a lifelong rabid connoisseur of horror. She loves her films to have as much violence as possible. Therefore, she drives the emotional flow and violence of the film with classic horror inspiration and every bit of energy and enthusiasm possible.
